I have tested this, and it looks like this is a tracker problem. Using the default ones might not be enough. Try using more trackers. As an example, check out this list: https://newtrackon.com/list. |
I tried it with the suggest tracker list. Still doesn't work. |

What version of WebTorrent Desktop? (See the 'About WebTorrent' menu)
Version 0.20.0(0.99.3) (64-bit)
installed via https://flathub.org/apps/details/io.webtorrent.WebTorrent
What operating system and version?
Fedora 29 (64-bit)
What did you do?
I created a "New torrent from Files"
What did you expect to happen?
To get a torrent file / magnet link which you could use to download from instant.io and with a "normal" Torrent Client like Transmission / qTorrent.
What actually happened?
Only the download via instant.io worked. The "normal" Torrent Clients did find the seeds but cannot download the file. Downloading a "normal" torrent with WebTorrent Desktop works.
I'm not sure if that is intended to behave like that or if it is a bug.
