Today we held our biweekly triage call (#8942) and I will post the meeting notes there in a bit. The next one is scheduled for March 23, 9 am PDT. Note that this is 2 weeks later in an America+Europe friendly time.

People interested in attending the next call please respond here or reach out privately to me or the spec editors. We will be tagging issues for the next call again using the agenda+ label in all WHATWG repos and we would like to invite anyone that can contribute to said issues to join us.

Thank you all for attending today! Here are the notes from this meeting (the next one is at #9070):

Agenda

  1. Review past action items
    1. Simon to open an issue about streaming sanitized parsing, with pointers to help Daniel understand how we could build that in the future.
      1. Issue was filed.
  2. Carryovers from last time
    1. None.
  3. New topics
    1. [Anne] Storage Access API Standardization
      1. Consensus in the room that this is useful to work on. Next step will be to create a PR and hash out any issues left (like embedding A->B->A).
    2. [Domenic] Resetting forms on document reactivation
      1. Discussed the differences between reset and restore. Firefox has seen several bugs when restoring form fields with autocomplete=off. Will revisit in 4 weeks and ask fergal to attend.
    3. [Domenic] Sandboxed iframes without allow-same-origin and with about:blank or about:srcdoc urls should not inherit a fallback base url
      1. Didn't have time for this.
    4. [Chris H] :dir standardization status?
      1. Missing tests from testing plan
      2. On Tests for directionality and shadow DOM we have a comment from Mason, could we get someone from Apple to comment?

Action Items

  1. Someone from WebKit should comment on Tests for directionality and shadow DOM.
