Internet becomes very slow when aroma is loaded

I have an issue where my internet speeds are very slow when Aroma is loaded. I get around 11 mbps on wifi, and 15 to 20 mbps on Ethernet, but with aroma, I only get around 7mbps on wifi and 900kbps on ethernet, and if I'm running a internet speed test, if I remove the SD card with aroma loaded, the speeds on the test increase to the non aroma speeds in real time.
