See the demo

Check out the demo here: https://tv-3b1b9.web.app/

PS: You have to click on the first video. The rest will go automatically. It will automatically zap to a new video after 4-6 seconds. You can also click NEXT on top of the window.
It preloads YouTube video's so that you can zap tiktok style: immediate playbacks!

YouTubeTV TikTok Style

At the top of the screen you can click 'NEXT' or you can just let the program go through the list (every video five seconds). You can write a program like this in the src/assets/ folder

[
    {
        "start": 100,
        "end": 105,
        "id": "izGwDsrQ1eQ"
    },
    {
        "start": 100,
        "end": 105,
        "id": "9jK-NcRmVcw"
    },
    {
        "start": 100,
        "end": 105,
        "id": "9f06QZCVUHg"
    }
]

Will show two video's 2 seconds per video and immediate change/start of the next one!

You'll find a program in the assets folder.

Installation

git clone git@github.com:wimdenherder/youtubetv.git
cd youtubetv
npm install
npm run start

You don't need any api keys to run the program.

Helper scripts

If you want to check if youtube id's still work, you can use the following script: src/helper/ytExists.js (api key required from google cloud)

The other script src/helper/mapSheetToJson.js is a helper script to get the youtube id's and times from a list of urls.
