No Notification Sounds

I cannot get the notification of a new message or call to make some sort of sound to attract my attention. I was able to get a flashing icon on the minimized and hidden program, but it does not pop open the minimized program.

Wire version: Desktop version 3.36.3462

AVS version: AVS version 9.8.14
Operating system: Debian 12, with Xfce 4.18.2
Which antivirus software do you have installed: None

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. ...Using the program normally, and minimizing it when not being used.

What is the expected result?
Either the program should sound a tone to attract the attention of the user, or the program should pop-up full screen, or ideally both.
