the local buffer does not automatically clean up

Hi, I am running into the a issue trying to use kafka-connect-s3.

I specified a local buffer directory with
local.buffer.dir=/tmp/connect-system-test
but those files keep growing and does not get automatically clean up

is there any other setting I should specify?
