Smoothness / sensitivity question

Hi, I have read the documentation over and over and it's very complex (to me), so I would like to do something but I'm not sure how.

Is there a way to make the band values not react to minor changes, but have a smooth visual still?

For example, the output value would not change between 0.11 and 0.12, but if it gets to 0.22 it would still get there smoothly and progressively go through all the values in between.

I hope this is clear, let me know if you need more explanations please!
