Third-Party CRX Extension Uninstallation Causes App Crash #181

Description

After installing a third-party extension via a CRX file, the installation appears to succeed; however, attempting to uninstall it results in two issues:

  • The app crashes during the uninstallation attempt.
  • The extension icon becomes corrupted, displaying an unexpected placeholder logo.
  • The extension remains in an unremovable state.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Download the CRX file from the ngrok link or from any website other than GitHub and Wootzapp's official extension store.
  2. Verify that the installation of the extension was successful.
  3. Attempt to delete the extension.

The removal will fail, leading to a crash of the application; upon reopening it, the extension still appears with a different logo.
