It would be nice if it showed a message stating that it needs to reboot when selecting a boot disk in order to restore it and after the user OK's it, it then reboots and loads a part of itself that does the restoring during the period where ChkDsk, etc. runs before Windows continues to boot. After that, it'll restart and let it boot.

Hi Zero3K,
feel free to make a PR but it's an old project...

I am not a developer. Maybe you or someone else could try to add the functionality that I am requesting.

As the developer stated, you are free to open a pull request and implement this feature.
The developer will not implement it.

I suggest you learn C, study the internals of the boot process and add this feature yourself.
Open source doesn't work the way that you go around to projects on GitHub and request the developers to implement things for you.
You need to contribute yourself sometimes - be it by learning how to implement such a feature yourself.

If you don't have the time to do so then I suggest you to have a look at the many commercial tools available that have this functionality.
