With Elon announcing that legacy checkmarks would be going away soon (because he got his feelings hurt probably), I wonder if there's any way that we can open source the process of collecting historical data on legacy verified accounts to continue serving them up through the extension. I don't care about Twitter Blue but I found the pre-Elon version incredible helpful to find legitimate accounts.

Just some thoughts swirling in my head and not sure if it's worth while to actual pursue. Thoughts?

There's a handy repo containing a list of all legacy-verified accounts here https://github.com/TylerGlaiel/TwitterLegacyVerifiedData

I've also compiled a bit of a list in #91 on the same topic, which you might find useful.
