Hi - is there any plan to support app.calculate()?

A client of mine has a number of critical xlwings/desktop apps that rely on recalculating the workbook in-flight and I think this would be the only barrier to migrating them to xlwings-server.

Given app.macro() works we could hack something to work via VBA in the workbook, but It would be great to have the code work without modification.

Yes, all of the missing attributes are on the todo list, but only requests of paying clients are being prioritized, so this doesn't have an ETA at the moment.

🐔🥚 - thanks, as long you think it's possible, I'll see about a PoC on a simpler app to convince them to pay up.

If it's for a POC, I'd just use a macro, as you suggested, that should be simple enough. Also, I'd invite you to look into Office.js add-ins instead of VBA...
