yeah I have a new system xmms2d config file i.e. ~/.config/xmms2/xmms2.conf keeps regressing every time I reboot, have reset the ipcsocket key to my preferred value and on re boot it no longer matches XMMS_PATH and I cannot connect, I was editing the file with vim I have since found
xmms2 server config core.ipcsocket "tcp://192.168.1.15:9667"
I'll see if that is sticky also it keeps loosing my music library luckily I have a Perl script that puts it all back. The new box is uefi could that be the difference
