In v2.8 option opencl-platform extended by 3 new values "amd", "nvidia" and "intel" (case insensitive) it allow miner automatically find suitable platform index. Old behavior is still available, you can specify platform index by number. All changes are backward compatible.

In addition auto-configuration now available for NVIDIA and Intel if you specify an appropriate platform.

Can this opencl version be used to mine on intel cards ? , and if yes how would the hashrate on hd 4000 compared to core i3

It possible, but useless, CPU as CPU always faster than CPU as GPU. I added platform primary for me, (itself Intel OpenCL works long time ago, but was require manual configuration). Intel platform allow develop miner without AMD/NVIDIA GPUs if it need.
