I would like to propose an enhancement to the group editor window. Currently the checkbox next to each mount has 2 states: checked or not checked, to indicate if it's assigned to that group or not. I would like to see a new third state "In another Group". There is a similar precedence in the AddOn List UI that uses a gray-scale checkmark to indicate "This addon is enabled for some characters"

My use-case for this feature is for when I'm working towards getting every mount into a group. I currently have to Filter -> Group -> Unchecked All, Check "NONE", assign some mounts to groups as appropriate. To refresh the list I have to then Check All, Uncheck All, check NONE and continue. If the unfiltered list could show me the same information with a third type of checkbox, it would be quicker to assign the unassigned mounts.

Hi thanks for the suggestion. I won't have any time to look at enhancements for a while now, as it's about to be raiding season again, but I'll keep this in mind when I do.

The group interface is really not very good, but Blizzard make you do it all by hand and it was an incredible amount of work.

One small improvement for you, you can shift-click on NONE to select just that. It will at least save you one step.

Happy adventuring, X.
