Agenda

We will agree on the actual agenda at the start of our meeting. We are open to any suggestions, so feel free to put your ideas to the list.

Proposals

• As the editorial team for XProc 3.0 is working hard to deliver a "last call paper" for the core specs in Prague, we are prepared to give some status update.

• The specification still (as of 20190129) contains at least one "editorial notes". That needs to be addressed/discussed. Anything else?

• The step library for XProc 3.0 is still work in progress, so this might be the main topic of our meeting:

  • Additional and/or revised steps to process XML documents e.g. a unified validation step
  • New steps to process JSON
  • New steps to process TEXT documents
  • New steps to process binary document, e.g. p:zip
  • New steps for RDF
  • you name it.

Remarks Erik: We haven't put a lot of effort in discussing the steps yet. It might help (?) to streamline the discussion a bit and discuss the steps in (functional) groups, least controversial first.
