In figure 1 of this paper: PoGO-Net: Pose Graph Optimization with Graph Neural Networks, there are two Edge Messages coming out from the center blue node. Should these two arrows be marked in red since they should be Node Messages to my understanding?

I think you are right. The authors made mistakes of the node marks.
