Visual Studio Code에서 한글과 로마자 사이의 커서의 가로 위치는 고정되나, 넓은폭으로 표시된 심볼 (U+2000 ~ U+2BFF) 사이에는 가로 위치가 고정되지 않는 것으로 보임.

일반적으로 프로그래밍 용 텍스트 편집기는 커서의 위치를 개별 문자 너비의 합으로 계산하며, 개별 문자의 너비는 1 또는 2로 표현됨. 로마자는 1, 한글을 포함한 동아시아 문자는 2로 계산하는 것은 자명하나 이 범주에 속하지 않는 문자는 편집기에 따라 1 또는 2의 값이 사전에 정의되어 있음.

이 경우 심볼 문자에 너비 1이 설정된 것으로 보이며, 글꼴 만으로는 이 문제를 해결할 수 없음.

VS Code에 글꼴의 visual 너비 처리 방식에 대한 기능 추가 요청을 남김.
