Hello!
I was confused why queries are too slow, until realised there is no indexes except on AlertGroup?

Do you mind adding some?
I'd suggest at least:

alertlabel.(alertid, label)
alert.startsat
alertannotation.(alertid,annotation)

and some other staff probably.
