First I had the RCTRootView.h problem mentioned in the other issue, got passed that by running npm install then cleaning the project and running again. Then it failed to connect to the development server (my other react-native apps run fine).

This project is definitely valuable and deserves some attention, it would be great if you'd fix it up!
