Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
The supervisors in our studio want to be able to sort assets by asset type, especially in the OP launcher. When having like 20 or more assets, it is really confusing not to be able to sort them into subfolders. We could simply create the subfolders manually in ftrack, but then there's a risk that there's no consistency across projects (typo, uppercase or not, s in the end of a word or not...).

Describe the solution you'd like
The solution we wish to develop, is to create automatically a subfolder with the name of the asset type (if it doesn't already exists) and put the asset into this subfolder automatically. So there's no human intervention, therefore less risk of typo or else.

Describe alternatives you've considered
An other idea we had, is to create a virtual hierarchy in the launcher based on the type of the asset. Create fake subfolders in the launcher based on the type of the AssetBuild from ftrack which will have no repercussions on the pipeline, it will just be visual.

Screenshot from ftrack

1 - This is the asset type of the AssetBuild (here "Prop")
2 - This is the subfolder we want to create automatically named after the asset type.
