What's the problem

trying to generate toc for the following

## a + b

results

- [a + b](#a--b)

What's the expected result

should

- [a + b](#a-b)

How to reproduce

  1. see problem
  2. see what expected

Other information

Seems that problem arise if whitespace before and after a special char ( in this case + )

The solution here should to collapse -- to -
