Hi,

thanks for the great service of providing slides of your course. I have been using them for two years now. Unfortunately, after a recent update of my texlive distribution, the code does not compile anymore with the Makefile.

What I get is

GPL Ghostscript 9.54.0: ERROR: A pdfmark destination page 6 points beyond the last page 5.

I have tracked it down by manually executing the latexmk -dvi tmpyslides, which does create a dvi-file without any errors. Opening the DVI with oculus however shows a strange formatting of the figures (but this may be due to the DVI reader, maybe).
But then, running dvipdf tmpyslides throws the above error. This occurs also with the latest version of the slides.

Versions are:

  • latexmk 4.70b (29 September 2020)
  • GPL Ghostscript 9.54.0

Have you also experienced this kind of problem and maybe a remedy?

I maybe should say that it does not depend on the chapter, I get it for any chapter that uses pstricks (applies probably for all of them).
