Switch to the last tab I was in, ignoring the tabs cycled through

Let's suppose I've got 8 files open. Currently I am viewing file 6

file1	file2	file3	file4	file5	file6	file7	file8
					I am here

Now I want to switch to file 3. I do this be pressing down ctrl and hold it. Then I press pageup 3 times.

file1	file2	file3	file4	file5	file6	file7	file8
		I am here	cycled through	cycled through	last real visited file

Now I need a convinient way to get back to file6. In Sublime Text I am able to just press ctrl + tab because this ignores files I just cycle through. I would guess they check if I stop pressing the ctrl key.

When I'm pressing ctrl + tab in Zed, I get back to file 4 because that's the last file I cycled through
