I'm aware of how old this is but it's been extremely useful to many people.
Right now this program affects notes perfectly fine and the way it should. However it completely ignores lighting. A lot of people would really appreciate it if it also affected lighting.

Hey. Thanks for the suggestion! I'm actually VR headsetless at the moment, but I was in the first batch of pre-orders for the Valve Index, so that will change soon. 😁 Once my kit arrives, I'll look into it.
All that said, I totally welcome pull requests. I expect this to be fairly easy to implement, and Go is a really easy language to pick up. If you wanna take a crack at it, I suggest https://tour.golang.org. It will teach you all you need to know to implement this feature.
Also, i just signed onto the #mapping discussion on discord for the first time in ages and saw many comments mentioning the lack of lighting support. I didn't realize this thing was getting used by so many people. Thanks so much for bringing this to my attention!
