Issue where CC2Edit doesn't save changes

(Encountered once) - Everything seemed to work properly until "Undo" button was hit, the map then went back several edits, possibly to a previously saved state. "Redo" was then not possible. Further editing was possible but after pressing save and close, and re-opening the map, the progress had not been saved. After restarting the computer, "undo", "redo" and "save" worked just fine.
