This is a Next.js project bootstrapped with create-next-app
.
The movie search app enables searching for movies using The Movie Database API (TMDB). Supported features:
- Search for movie information from the TMDB API
- Users can mark/unmark movies they own that they searched for
- Search results display the movie title, release date, and overview
- Results are paginated and display 10 results at a time
Create .env file and set environment variables
NEXT_PUBLIC_TMDB_API_KEY=<your_tmdb_api_key_here>
Install dependencies
npm install
Run the development server:
npm run dev
Open http://localhost:3000 with your browser to see the result.
You can start editing the page by modifying app/page.tsx
. The page auto-updates as you edit the file.
This project uses next/font
to automatically optimize and load Inter, a custom Google Font.
