• Took my parents on their first ever (in life!) vacation to kodaikanal. Hopefully the first of many to come?
• I spent my time back iterating on Add section on senior open source infra engineer #255 with @choldgraf
• Deployed Use n1- instances instead of e2 instances infrastructure#665

• I'd love for someone to look at Terminate process correctly from reflector thread jupyterhub/kubespawner#525.

• Fixed up some JSON validation errors in Support native JupyterHub OAuthenticator in 2i2c-managed hubs infrastructure#706 and reimplemented in a new PR Recovering PR #706: Supporting native JupyterHub OAuthenticator alongside Auth0 for our hubs infrastructure#726

• I'm attending the Workshop on Sustainable Software Sustainability on Wed/Thu/Fri. Session 4 on the people that make up the infrastructure of software is of particular interest to me!

Updates from last week ✔

• Making progress towards Add documentation about best-practices in deploying hubs on AWS infrastructure#696 with Docs about AWS hubs and CI/CD automation infrastructure#717 draft PR.
• Had fun providing feedback on Support native JupyterHub OAuthenticator in 2i2c-managed hubs infrastructure#706 (being more annoying than usual 😉 ) and provided suggestions for conditional validation in Recovering PR #706: Supporting native JupyterHub OAuthenticator alongside Auth0 for our hubs infrastructure#726.
• Merged Redirect test output when we are running on the CI infrastructure#712 and tested successfully in production!
• Automatic deployment of CarbonPlan is no longer blocked, details in How to deal with MFA in our auto deployment CI workflow? infrastructure#713
• Automatic deployment of Farallon is green now (certainly a flaky test was making it red on a previous deployment/report).

Challenges I faced and things I'd like assistance with 🙏

• I would appreciate it if you can provide "general" feedback (major things) on the docs PR, Docs about AWS hubs and CI/CD automation infrastructure#717.
• Please, if you can chime in on the CustomOAuthenticator discussion, https://github.com/2i2c-org/pilot-hubs/discussions/731, since I believe master is probably broken now if I am understanding things correctly.

My availability for next week

• Tomorrow, Oct 5th, is my birthday! I will be available but starting earlier than usual so I can take advantage of an AFK afternoon/evening.
• Next Fri 8th and next Mon 11th are public national holidays in Argentina. I will definitely try to stay away from the computer those days.
