This plugin allow to do an back-channel logout for OIDC.
A back-channel logout takes place between Keycloak and its clients. Keycloak detects a user's logout and sends a request containing a logout token to all clients where the user is logged in. The important aspect of back-channel is that it does not rely on a browser.
Currenty the plugin auth_oidc (https://moodle.org/plugins/auth_oidc) only support front-channel logout
- Log in to your Moodle site as an admin and go to Site administration > Plugins > Install plugins.
- Upload the ZIP file with the plugin code. You should only be prompted to add extra details if your plugin type is not automatically detected.
- Check the plugin validation report and finish the installation.
The plugin can be also installed by putting the contents of this directory to
{your/moodle/dirroot}/local/oidclogout
Afterwards, log in to your Moodle site as an admin and go to Site administration > Notifications to complete the installation.
Alternatively, you can run
$ php admin/cli/upgrade.php
to complete the installation from the command line.
