Hi @adilkadivala ! I'd love to work on this issue. After analyzing the DebateAI repository, I can see this is a full-stack debate platform with Go backend and React frontend that allows real-time debates between users and AI opponents.

For this project, I recommend the MIT License as it's perfect for:

• Encouraging widespread adoption of the debate platform
• Allowing educational institutions to freely use and modify it
• Enabling commercial derivatives while keeping the core open-source
• Maintaining AOSSIE's open-source mission

I'll also create a comprehensive CONTRIBUTING.md that includes:

• Debate-Specific Contribution Guidelines:

  • Guidelines for adding new AI debate personalities/bots
  • Speech recognition & WebRTC testing protocols
