BUG: validation error in onboarding folder selection step

What happened?

If I am not selecting a folder in the onboarding folder selection step, the console is throwing a validation error, i have searched the open issues and this hasn't been reported

I have already fixed this and waiting for maintainer's approval to submit the pr
