Description

Added research article by MacLeod et al. that uses self-driving lab named Ada to identify the Pareto front of conductivities and processing temperatures for palladium films formed by combustion synthesis

🧪 Synthesis: Paper discusses the use of a self-driving laboratory, Ada, to optimize material properties through combustion synthesis of palladium films.

🔬 Characterization: Ada performs chemical characterization and measures the conductivities of the palladium films formed by combustion synthesis.

🏗️ Sample transfer: Ada uses a 4-axis N9 robot arm to mix, drop cast, and anneal precursors for film synthesis. A 6-axis UR5e robot is used to transfer samples to XRF microscope and other stations.

💻 Experiment planning: The self-driving laboratory, Ada, autonomously plans and conducts experiments to discover new synthesis conditions for the palladium films.

✖️ Manual intervention: No manual intervention
