This pull request is updating the docker and docker-compos version used within travis-ci and the docker-compose.yml to use version 3

Hi!

Firstly, thanks for the contribution! This was something we'd been meaning to get to for a while now, and was something I started (for v2) in #127.

Would you be able to fix the supporting files please and make sure Travis is happy? I think you can lift what I did in the above PR for them pretty much, or at least use it as inspiration.

Sorry for the issue. The current PR test seems to run infinite and I am not authorized to stop/cancel it. Can someone from the maintainers please take care of it?

It's been auto-killed by Travis. You can also setup your own fork with Travis too, although you'd need to work on another branch for it to not get automatically picked up by this PR - maybe one for the future :)
