Merged various fixes from the dev branch

Release 1.0

After a recent clean up it seems now would be a good time to use the 'release' functionality on Github.

All HDAs now have a help card and example file. Although functionality is missing in places, all HDAs should also be in a usable condition.

The shelf has also been cleaned up and several python libs bundled for ease of use.
