Describe the bug
The API docs page for the datepicker is experiencing very drastic UI issues that make this document unstable.

Expected behavior
The API documentation is useable for element consumers

Exit criteria
This issue can be closed once the API document page has removed the error that is causing the layout and content to be poorly formatted and unstable.
