This release features several notable changes with the best of 0.8.10, 0.8.9, and 0.8.8 all combined into one branch. For pedal users, please check out this branch.

  • New items added in the toggles menu. Tap the item in question to few details about what it does.
  • AGNOS 2.0 only found on master 0.8.10 has been included, which brings stability improvements.
  • The new driving model found on the 0.8.10 master has been included, with improved laneless performance.
  • A new driver monitoring model has also been pulled from master which brings less false-positives.
  • Gas/Brake interface has been upgraded to the new Accel interface found in master.
  • New interpolated follow distance profiles created by doug#8923 bring smoother braking with lead cars present.
  • Nudgeless lane change is now optional instead of mandatory, as shown in the toggles menu.
  • The nidec comma pedal has been retuned again with a "chill" ACC tune option provided as well. See what works the smoothest for your car.
  • The nidec comma pedal has new increment logic for +5 or +1 by short pressing or long pressing respectively. See the toggles for more info.
  • Both the non-pedal and pedal tunes have been altered with the wind brake included and functioning properly.
  • Nidec Honda/Acura: New option to bring the "stopped" indicator back on the dash when the vehicle becomes stationary.
  • The full onroad developer user-interface with all of the widgets on the left/right side of the screen have been ported, with my own custom color scheme for warnings. Brake icon is not currently working for computer-braking due to the new Accel interface, a hotfix for that will come soon.
  • Openpilot will stay engaged in other gears like sport or low, useful for driving down mountains. Be careful using cruise control with this.
  • Update prompts requiring internet connectivity have been relaxed again.
  • All of the usual goodies such as separated LKAS/ACC have been ported over:
  • LKAS and ACC are two separate functions that can be used independently.

  • LKAS will disengage on brake, but automatically come back.

  • LKAS will disengage below 30MPH with blinker so the driver doesn't fight the wheel.

  • LKAS will stay disengaged briefly after blinkers, this helps driver recenter wheel.

  • LKAS will stay disengaged if seatbelt unlatched or door is open.
