I have all 3 versions of Arcticons installed on my device and need to update all 3. I use Obtainium (an open source apps manager) sourced to this github for the purpose. Unfortunately the obtainium app does not recognise the 3 version (d/l/y) as 3 but variants. A variant is usually for different cpu architectures like v7a or v8a.. Arcticons as reported by github apks is a SINGLE app having 3 variants namely d,l,y..

I suspect its due to the usage of same signature on all 3 apps.

Opening an issue in the Obtainium repo would be more effective. We're not responsible here for unofficial sources.

While some regex magic filtering the APK does usually help getting those things to work, you'll not only have to get them correct the first time....the App/Entry already existing Message is still likely going to be an issue along the way.

In other words, you could either go with F-Droid (either with a Client of your choice or via Import/Export - Search F-Droid Official Repo - Arcticons, in Obtainium) or have 1 ver. (Track Only) in Obtainium to remind you about a quick GitHub visit to grab the other 2 (manually).

Another workaround could be asking Izzy to include the You version as there wouldn't be a Signature conflict (something he wants to avoid) or size issue, removing the F-Droid delay, while also serving as an early reminder for any 'multi-version' users to go grab the other 2.
Given the lack of Open Source Icon Packs, I can't imagine a possible request being denied.

As I grab mine all manually and dropped out of the non streamlined usage of Obtainium (big pain), the defaut "Which Version do you want to download" detection being good enough, that's all I can add to this given the current (feature) state of the App.

But as mentioned above, make it a feature request over there based on an existing scenario and hope for the best. Even a simple manual packagename assignment would do wonders. Not that it can't be done, just something closer to the simplicity of just downloading 3 files from 1 Release.
