As a quick workaround, you could install a specific version of TSLint locally in your project, then linter-tslint will pick that version up and use it |

It would be nice to be able to use a globally-installed version of tslint, instead of the built-in version.
I'm seeing a bunch of linting errors now because of the different versions.
