This PR is in progress. It will encompass:

  • Converting serializer implementation to be fully async (refactor abstract implementations and CachedSchemaRegistryClient)
  • Merging abstract serializer and deserializer implementations into single serializer class to satisfy ObjectSerializer
  • Implementing ObjectSerializer on top-level Avro serializer
