It seems your code is trying to cover the situation that "globalThis" isn't exist. but it not working.

@freedom-git globalThis is available in chrome 71. chrome 69 was released in September 2018. We don't want to encourage old browser usages. If you really need to use old browsers could you add a polyfill by yourself before loading azure sdk module? Something like

if (typeof globalThis !== "object") { global.globalThis = this; } or window.globalThis = window;
