Mastodon is free, open source software licensed under AGPLv3. As a result, so is this fork!
If you want to contribute to Mastodon, go to their page. If you want to add features to Beach City, feel freel to submit a PR to us. We generally accept anything our citizens do for us.
Our branching strategy is thus:
- Changes, including merges from upstream, go in dev.
- When we need/want to update, we merge dev to staging and our QA team verifies the build is happy.
- When QA gives us the green light, we merge to prod and deploy.
