I forgot how to do this. SEQUOIA. The name I thought would be hard to spell, but it isn't bad. Really quite the product of Apple's special and unique marketing team that had no effect on me or my decisions in regards to this app.
To start Sequoia comes with three themes, the first two based on the light and dark mode wallpapers... and... wait... maybe there's just two.... BUT THAT'S NOT IT!
Due to popular demand (by two people), About My Mac now has a blurred background option! Might change/add customization in the future, but this is a start.
Also! Markdown is now in the Acknowledgments section so that the links can be clicked and it looks slightly nicer.
The funny part is I went to finish this update because I had to open the project to steal code for another project. Good things come to those who get distracted.
NOTE: If you are unable to run the program, right click, click open there, and pray. Apple has been strangely picky about this app and its ability to run, and I have no idea why. It's unsigned but that doesn't make it malware.
UPDATE ON THAT NOTE
macOS Sequoia became MUCH more strict, removing the ability to right click and open unsigned apps. Thanks Apple! Instead, you need to attempt to open it, then open Settings -> Privacy & Security
scroll to the bottom and click Open Anyway
. I will sign this app eventually, most likely will happen alongside macOS 16 beta. Unfortunately, I do not currently have access to a Paid Apple Developer account, so this is how it is. If you don't trust me, you can review and compile the code yourself, it is open source after all.
