The "changed to build on sparc" diff is pretty huge.... to commit this would require lots of tests on lots of platforms. Harder to push this one. The others are easy to push. I'm going to pull this into my branch, and play with it. |

I have added configure.ac and Makefile.am files so users can use autotools to build software. I would appreciate your review? They are based upon HEAD.
