As of update 3.1.0, BlockSniper automatically scans if there is a new release of the plugin. The message will show something like this:
[17:42:29] [Server thread/INFO]: [BlockSniper] Version 3.1.1 has been released for API 3.2.0 - 3.2.2. Download the new release at https://poggit.pmmp.io/r/41484
Before installing the new version, please note:
- A new patch version (the last number in the version) usually indicates that bug fixes have been made. It is recommended to update to this version as soon as possible.
- A new major version (the first number) or a new minor (the second) are usually no critical updates. Updating is usually not very important, as these will mostly include new features.
- Make sure to check if the API the message tells you is compatible with the current PocketMine version of your server. This can be checked with the /version command. If not, you will have to either update your PocketMine phar or wait with updating to the new BlockSniper version you got a notification from.
