The current master contains a fix for collective I/O when some selections are empty.

TLDR; don't merge until highfive@2.8.1 has been released.

We need a branch/Draft PR to be able to vendor a compatible version of libsonata in libsonata-mpi which uses HighFive via libsonata (when vendored). We can the create mock spack recipes and eventually run neurodamus CI.

The new version contains a fix for collective I/O when some
selections are empty.
