Nightly builds
Want to try new features before they're released? If you don't mind code that may be somewhat buggy or unstable, you can download and install nightly build of the ActionScript & MXML extension for Visual Studio Code.
-
Visit the vscode-as3mxml Github Actions page.
-
Click on the most recent successful build.
-
From the Artifacts section, download the vscode-as3mxml artifact.
-
Extract the .zip file when it completes downloading. Inside you will find a .vsix file.
-
In Visual Studio Code, open the command palette by going to the View menu and selecting Command Palette....
You may also use the Ctrl+Shift+P keyboard shortcut (or Command+Shift+P on macOS) to open the command palette
-
Run the Extensions: Install from VSIX… command and choose the .vsix file that you extracted previously.
-
Follow any further instructions from VSCode. For instance, it may ask you to restart the program.
