How are the code folders organised and grouped?

For e.g.:

-core
  -directives
  -guards
  -models
    -templates
   ....
-shared

For instance, I'm unclear what is the difference between templates folder and shared folder.

If these folders are not named after concepts in Angular it would be good to include in documentation

Templates are known to be html files in Angular but templates folder here contains ts files
