This looks good.
I built this and ran
topogtools mask
The resulting file had
dimensions:
nx = 1440 ;
ny = 1142 ;
variables:
float geolon_t(ny, nx) ;
geolon_t:long_name = "tracer longitude" ;
geolon_t:units = "degrees_E" ;
geolon_t:_Storage = "chunked" ;
geolon_t:_ChunkSizes = 571, 720 ;
...
And this seems like a reasonable chunksize.
