Summary

To be usable for PyChaste, the VTK build should:

  • Wrap Python
  • Support Parallel MPI

These custom VTK builds for PyChaste are being discontinued. PyChaste will be tested against VTK builds from conda-forge. There is only the slight difference that those are built with thread building blocks as a dependency in place of MPI.

The patches added in PR #65 are still useful and will be merged in.
