Would it be possible for TMPE to add bike lanes by converting existing lanes into bike lanes? Specifically, for the vehicle restrictions tool to be able to add/remove bike lanes from road assets by converting their lane type between "Vehicle" or "Parking" and "Bicycle"?
I recently downloaded the Blank Roads pack, which is quite cool because with TMPE + IMT it allows me to add bus lanes in any custom configuration. However Blank Roads do not include any bike lanes, and to add them I would need to make my own assets.
It would be very useful if TMPE could enable bike lanes on any road, then I could use TMPE + IMT + Blank Roads to provide a complete in-game road builder, with TMPE used to configure bus and bike lanes, and then IMT used to colour them red or green.
I saw #1012 mention issues with creating new bike lanes - eg requiring to rebuild curbs etc. So I thought that, as a restriction, the feature could require use of an existing lane - either vehicle lane (lane is converted from car lane to bike lane), or parking area. So the option to enable/disable bike lane appears only on vehicle lanes and parking areas. Converting a parking area to bike would automatically disable parking on that segment, if not already disabled.
In the asset editor I can easily change the lane type property on a road from "Vehicle" or "Parking" to "Bicycle", so I'm hoping TMPE could do the same thing in-game, on any segment? Ideally, if it's possible, it would also allow configuring the lane direction (backwards/forwards/both) of the bike lane.

Impossible without creating new asset if you want to apply it per-segment. Per network type, not a big deal, but maybe not as a part of TM:PE but new mod which could eventually add support for switching lane type/direction per-segment
