Extension, but separate issue, to issue VictorPhilipp/Cities-Skylines-Traffic-Manager-President-Edition#144 ...

As far as I can tell, this only affects train tracks (including station tracks) from the workshop. I don't recall pedestrians ever crossing vanilla train tracks (whether in a station or not).

The only time pedestrians should be allowed to cross train tracks is at a level crossing.

I suspect the game code which 'links' pedestrian routes in and around buildings is getting confused by tracks from the workshop. Alternatively, the game might be silently adding junctions to train track nodes but only for tracks in the workshop.

Also, the issue possibly only relates to workshop tracks deployed as mods (eg. Extra Train Station Tracks) - it's possible that tracks deployed as "road" (network) assets don't exhibit the problematic behaviour.

Station which exhibits the problem is linked in VictorPhilipp/Cities-Skylines-Traffic-Manager-President-Edition#144

Shouldn't that be fixed by those who created the train tracks in the first place? If vanilla train tracks are not affected then I assume that it should be possible for the creators to prevent cims from crossing train tracks at arbitrary locations.

It's been a very long time since I used a vanilla train station so it's possible the issue happens there too - I just don't recall it, but that was like 5 years ago and a lot has changed since. I've not recently tested my assumption that it's only workshop assets that exhibit the problematic behaviour.

I'll try and get some vanilla stations set up in my current city and report back (might be a few days as the map is riddled with rivers and mountains so finding a nice space for a station and the tracks to reach it is somewhat challenging).
